My walking tours take you to historic buildings nestling amid stunning skyscrapers, where the ancient art of “Feng Shui” influenced old architecture. The names of the streets they located on further evoke the colourful history of Hong Kong. By way of illustration, some of them are named after the past governors like Sir Henry Pottinger. Having been a British colony for over hundred years, the fusion of Western and Eastern cultures has generated a uniqueness not only on the architectures in Hong Kong but also on its community. Western-style Buildings like Blue-house sprang up as the city grew prosperously, and the early 20th century saw Hong Kong’s development into a metropolis. Extensive reclamations extending the waterfront and development projects were carried out during different periods, and although Hong Kong is always changing, many historic buildings and structures still survive as standing testimony to the history of Hong Kong. Additionally, you will surely be inspired and excited by Hong Kong’s daily culture. Watching Horse-racing in Happy Valley, going to wet-market, and visiting the Legislative Council and Tai Kwun would be our highlights in tours.
