While Hong Kong is a place full of hustle and bustle, it is in fact full of country areas and natural scenery! In my eco-tours, you’re able to discover such pristine side of Hong Kong. The highlights in my tours include Mai Po Nature Reserve, country parks like Shing Mun Country Park, Wild Beaches in Sai Kung and Hong Kong Wetland Park. There are also tours to traditional villages such as Tai O Fishing Village. Besides, we offer some less well-known destinations like Pui-O in Lantau Island. Through these tours, I hope to let people appreciate the uniqueness of Hong Kong’s ecosystem, such as the large variety of species of birds and butterflies in Mai Po Nature Reserve, and the rich biodiversity of fish in the rivers of Southern Lantau Island. In recent years, many of these habitats have been constantly polluted, which have disrupted the ecology, causing irrevocable loss such as extinction of species. Therefore, I hope to promote the importance of the global issue of environmental protection, either to tourists or local people. In these tours, we will minimize the negative impacts brought to the environment. For example, I always ask my clients not to take any wild plants away or leave any litter behind. 10% of the profits gained through these tour will also be donated to relevant organizations to work on conversation on those areas. While having fun in these tours, you can also contribute to make these places better!
